We Love to Cook!

Welcome to Asher Acres, a family-owned and operated business located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We are passionate about creating high-quality, hand-crafted spice blends that add flavor and joy to every meal. Because food is more than fuel, it’s a way to bring families and communities together. And there’s nothing more important.

Our B&G Line of spice blends started out small. We made just enough for immediate family and friends. But it wasn’t too long before the word got out, and now we could not be prouder to share it with you – our ever growing community.

Our Values

Share Your Table

Sitting at a table sharing a meal is crucial to the development of strong bonds with family and friends. When that meal is flavorful and satisfying, it adds an element of joy for all those seated.  That’s why we put so much work and love into our spice recipes. We wanted to make cooking simple, full of flavor, and something extraordinary.

Build Your Family & Community

Sharing your table is just one part of the greater goal in life. There are so many wonderful and dynamic people in the world to share your table with. Building a family based on love and common passion is so important for creating peace and joy in your life. When you find folks who “feel like home,” you have to hold them tight.

Fresh is Best

The key ingredient to deliciousness is freshness. That’s why we grow and harvest all of our own ingredients on our family farm. We only want the best for our loved ones, and the food on their plates is no exception.

Time is Precious

Modern life moves fast, and it’s not slowing down anytime soon. That’s why most of our meals can be prepped and served in 60 minutes or less. If it’s a family affair, 30 minutes is a very realistic number. Cooking shouldn’t distract you from the ones you love, it should bring you closer.

Don’t Forget the Kids

Cooking is about sharing, and who better to share our love of cooking with than the kids. After all, everyone should be exposed to cooking at an early age, which means everyone should learn to read a recipe at an early age. Mom taught us how to do this with cookies by 2nd grade.
