Blue Cheese Garlic Crusted Flank Steak
Simple, quick, and easy.
Obviously good, because it was gone before I got a picture.
Steak Marinade Ingredients
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic
2 T brown sugar
1 t B&G
Steak Topping
1 cup blue cheese'
1 cup panko
1/4 cup garlic olive oil
Other ingredients
Flank Steak
B&Gerk
Score the flank steak about 40% into the top to allow marinade to get further into the meat.
Mix the Marinade ingredients in a Baggie or container, add steak. Let it sit at least an hour in the refrigerator. I usually go for 4 hours
Mix the topping ingredients in a bowl
Sprinkle B&Gerk on both sides of the steak. Sear the steak in a oven safe pan. About 3 minutes a side.
Cover the top of the steak with the topping mixture, put it in the oven on broil. Cook until the topping starts to brown.
