Honey Moonshine Pork Chops

Ingredients

- Pork Chops or chicken breast

- 5 T butter

- B&Gerk

- 1 T vinegar

- 3 Cloves Garlic

- 1/3 cup honey

- 1 shot bourbon

- ~ ½ cup flour

If using chicken breast, deeply score (cut into) the breast on one side making 2” squares

Pat the meat dry with a paper towel, then dredge in the flour both sides.

In your cast iron skillet, add 3 T of butter and melt.

Add the meat, brown on both sides.

At the ½ way point of desired cook level, add the remaining butter and garlic to the center of the pan. Mix it and brown it for a minute. Add the vinegar, honey and bourbon, mix them in. Drag the meat though the mixture and turn. After a minute or so, repeat. Do this until the desired cooking temp is achieved (150 is my suggestion).
