Shrimp Linguini with Lemon Butter Sauce

This fast and flavor full dish can easily be made in under 30 minutes.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb shrimp

  • ½ lb Italian sausage

  • Linguine

  • 2 T lemon Juice

  • Garlic Olive Oil

  • B&Gerk

Vegetables – Today we used:

  • 1 zucchini slices quartered

  • 1 summer squash slices quartered

  • 1 small onion large chop

  • Mushroom large chop

  • 2 cup spinach

Sauce

  • 1 stick butter

  • 4 T chopped garlic

  • 2 t Italian seasoning

  • ½ t red pepper flakes

 

Place the shrimp in a bowl with ~1/4 cup garlic olive oil, mix in B&Gerk

 Start your pasta water heating on medium low, so it is ready to cook when you need it

Add Sauce ingredient to a small pot on medium heat.  Heat until garlic browns, put to the side or on the warm centering of the stove.

In a large skillet, brown Italian sausage.  When browned, add veggies.  Mixing them up.  After about a minute, add shrimp.  Focus on getting both sides cooked as quickly as possible.  Turn off heat, add spinach, and cover.  Mix it up ½ way through the pasta cooking

Turn up Pasta water heat, add pasta.  When it is done to your liking, drain the pasta, dump the water, then add the pasta back into the post.  Mix in butter sauce.  Mix in shrimp/veggies.  Add Lemon Juice.  Add Parmesan cheese if desired
