Grilled Salmon
Ingredients
> Salmon
> B&Gerk&Mesquite
Basting Ingredients
> ½ stick butter
> 1 T Lemon Juice
> 2 T Toasted Garlic Olive Oil
Special Tools
It is VERY helpful to have a fish basket for the grill
Set the grill up for indirect cooking
Put a real good coat of B&Gerk on the Salmon
In a bowl, melt the butter. Add Lemon juice, 1T G&Gerk&Mesquite, and grapeseed oil
Cook the salmon skin-up for 5 minutes or so. We want the sugars in the B&Gerk&Mesquite to caramelize, but not burn
Turn the salmon over, skin-down.
Brush on the basting mixture every 5 minutes or so
The salmon should be ready to server in about 20 minutes. Look for the thickest part showing some separation when plied with a fork
Serve
